A few days ago it was 80 degrees. Then we had a "weather phenomenon" and we went to the 30s, actually the 40s but the wind was blowing also in the 40s so the windchill was in the 30s. And it rained. I was surprised there was no snow. All of my previously operated-on joints ached but I suffered on in silence like the martyr that I am (hah!).Spring break has officially started so our schedules will change for a bit. The Washington Nationals had an outing last night that was certainly noteworthy. Sort of like watching a little league team play...but without the "Mercy Rule." But in fact, watching was so uncomfortable we watched the movie, "Hidden Figures." That was hard to watch, too. That's what the U.S.A. used to be like, I think we are getting better but we have a long way to go. I am hopeful. This shot was taken in a wildlife park a couple of years ago. The owl surprised me but I was looking for action and so had my shutter speed set relatively high at 1/1250. But still, the high speed of his wingtips was faster than my shutter speed. Fantastic bird.
